Job Opening – Mechanical / Electrical Service Engineer

NPP have an exciting opportunity for an electrical /mechanical engineer. We are developing our range of machinery capabilities to include shrink wrappers, case erectors, robotics & pallet security equipment. Our business is moving to a complete solutions provider for materials and packaging systems.
The machinery side of our business is expected to grow considerably over the coming years, and we are looking for the best engineers to make this growth happen.
This will be a challenging and varied role given the range and complexity of the equipment. The role offers a good opportunity for development in a fast growing and progressive company. Ongoing training with suppliers is a feature of this role and will require the candidate be available to travel overseas.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deal with incoming technical enquiries and make field visits where required to demo new machines into an established and developing customer base.
- Communicate with established supply partners in the supply and delivery of customer projects and new technologies.
- Work closely with the Service Manager & Account Managers in the smooth delivery of customer projects and targets.
- On-site installation and commission of equipment.
- Provide training of site personnel in the operation and maintenance of equipment
- Perform preventative and service maintenance on packaging machines.
- Follow systematic root cause
- Troubleshoot issues, both mechanical and electrical
- Experience of mechanical and electrical, maintenance , in packaging machines in the pharmaceutical and manufacturing industry.
- Experience in PLC, Siemens, Allen Bradley
- Familiar with relevant SOPs and controls for the operation and safe running of equipment.
Skills & Abilities
- Qualified electrical /mechanical engineer.
- Trade background & in-line production/maintenance experience desirable.
- At least 2/3 years’ experience in a relevant industry
- Field service experience.
- Ability to analyse problems and develop appropriate solutions
- Verbal and written skills
- Problem solver
- Ability to work independently ,high work standards
- Technical analytical skills
- Fluency in English
- Valid driving license
- Team player
