Logistics Administrator

NPP Packaging Systems Limited has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Administrator in our rapidly expanding Logistics team.

Reporting to the Inbound Logistics Manager, the role provides  a great opportunity for the successful candidate to develop a career in Logistics and Planning.

The successful candidate will be a focused and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and an ability to work independently.

The role is  5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Purchase Order Management System Accuracy
  • Obtain updates and prioritise orders with suppliers as required
  • Organise and process collections of orders ready from UK and European manufacturing sites
  • Ensure correct pricing on collections arranged
  • Monitoring and reporting on progress with goods in transit
  • Manage booking system for deliveries
  • Liaise with sales department to support customer’s requirements
  • Reconcile queries and discrepancies with other departments
  • Managing customs documentation to ensure compliance
  • Provide administrative support to Logistics Manager as needed

Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous experience in admin/customer service role
  • Previous customs clearance experience is desirable
  • Highly organised with ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
  • Excellent analytical skills with accurate attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One is desirable
