Field Sales Executive

NPP are recruiting for a Field Sales Executive to cover the Ulster/Connacht region.  The successful candidate will join the commercial team of an industry leader in this market place. 

NPP are a major supplier of packaging materials and machinery into the food Industry and represent leading packaging manufacturers.  The focus of this role will be selling food packaging and related machinery into growing Food manufacturing sector in Ireland.  

The successful candidate will be an extremely motived target driven individual and will have a proven track record in a sales environment from business development to closing sales. 

The Role 

• New Business Development in the Food Packaging Industry. 
• Account, Budget & Territory Management – Ulster & Connacht 
• Being visible and interactive with your customer base. 
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of accounts. 
• Market research & raising awareness of range of products and services. 
• Collaborate with technical sales colleagues & engineering department to ensure sales of consumables and machinery. 
• Use of SAP Business One to tightly manage work in progress. 
• Monthly reporting to Sales Manager and the Senior Management team 
• Presentation to potential customers 

Skills & Qualifications 

• Proven sales and business development experience within this industry  
• CRM & reporting skills 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Food industry knowledge 
• Awareness and knowledge of the packaging industry 
• Proficient with MS Office 
• Self-motivated and self-directed 
• Excellent time management 
• Understand the competitive landscape. 
• Team player 
• Full Driver Licence
