PET, PP, and PE films are the main options. PET suits fresh meat and salads where clarity and barrier protection matter. PP handles hot-fill applications better. PE works for frozen goods and basic packaging. The Colimatic thermoformers accommodate different film gauges, but specify your product requirements upfront since film choice directly affects seal strength and shelf life.

The machine heats plastic film until it’s soft, then vacuum-forms it into specific shapes, trays, cups, or custom containers.
